Our Goal at ARC is the Safety of ALL Patients & Staff
If you have a fever, cough, or problems breathing PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC. Instead contact your primary care provider and call us to reschedule your appointment at ARC. Many of our patients are immunosuppressed and exposure to COVID-19 could lead to serious, even life-threatening disease. If you are healthy and coming to the clinic for labs or an appointment, we do REQUIRE that you wear a mask to help protect us all.
Our Screening Process
ALL patients will be screened for symptoms such as fever, cough and/or respiratory difficulty, recent exposure to COVID-19, and for recent travel outside of Minnesota in the last two weeks before entering our clinics.
If you have symptoms or a fever, please do not come to the clinic. Instead, call us to reschedule, and you may be referred to your primary care provider who can determine if you should be tested. If you have not been back from your travels for two weeks or more, we may ask you to reschedule.
How To Avoid Coronavirus
As with the flu or any other virus, the best way to avoid COVID-19 is to:
- Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home if you’re sick.
- Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze. Throw away any used tissues and wash your hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Wear a mask when you are out in public.
Coronavirus Symptoms
Typical symptoms of COVID-19 include a fever, cough and respiratory difficulty. You might also note loss of taste/smell, headache, body aches, sore throat, or extreme fatigue. If you or someone close to you have these symptoms, please consider seeing your primary care provider.
